The AAE series are the operator consoles for the Audico AVEC G4 voice evacuation, public address and background music system. They allow operators to make live announcements, play pre-recorded messages, select audio sourcesand adjust zone volumes — across 8 to 120 zones from a single console. The consoles are modular in construction, available in multiple configurations to match the scale and requirements of any installation. All models are certified to EN 54-16 for use in voice evacuation systems and to EN 60945 for maritime applications. Designed and manufactured in Finland.

Industry use

Suitable for all installations using the AVEC G4 system — schools, hospitals, shopping centres, transport hubs, offices and maritime vessels. Models are available for information desks, operator stations and fireman's control points.

Modular. Scalable to 120 zones.

The AAE range is built from four interchangeable modules: the main module with 8 zone selection buttons, a display module with menu controls, a 16-button zone selection module (up to 7 per console), and a fireman's handset holder. A single console can control up to 120 zones. All models connect to ADA 8x8 G4 via CAT5/6/7.

Made in Finland. Certified for safety.

Certified to EN 54-16 and EN 60945. Tested and approved by SGS Fimko for EMC and electrical safety requirements. RoHS compliant. Designed and manufactured in Finland under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified processes.

Two user access levels are built into every AAE console. General operators can make announcements, activate pre-recorded messages and select audio sources. Manual activation of pre-alert or evacuation mode requires an authorised operator with a password. Zone status and system faults are indicated by fixed or flashing indicator lights per zone — and on the display module where fitted.

The display module (DC models) is required when the console is also used to select background music sources or adjust music volume. It also provides a browsable fault log for acknowledging system errors. The modular architecture means consoles can be configured precisely for each installation without unnecessary features or cost.

Model Range

AAE 808 series — 8 zones

The base configuration with control buttons and 8 zone selection buttons. AAE 808DC adds a display and menu keypad. F-models (AAE 808F, AAE 808DCF) include a handheld microphone for fireman's use.

AAE 824 series — 24 zones

For mid-sized installations. AAE 824 without display, AAE 824DC with display and menu keypad. F-models available.

AAE 840 series — 40 zones

For large installations. AAE 840 without display, AAE 840DC with display. F-models available.

Custom models — up to 120 zones

Made to order in steps of 16 zones: 56, 72, 88, 104 and 120 zones. The 120-zone model is AAE 8120DCF.
