Power supply for AVEC system units
ABC 488 Power Supply is a secondary power supply and battery charger. It is used with batteries as part of the Audico AVEC voice evacuation system when the system needs to stay operational during a mains power failure.

Secondary power for AVEC system units
ABC 488 Power Supply is EN 54-4 certified. With batteries, each unit can supply secondary power for up to four ADA 8x8 System Units. The battery size is determined by the total speaker load and the number of system units. One power supply can charge and maintain batteries with a capacity of 4…140 Ah.
ABC 488 provides continuous operation monitoring. Possible fault situations are reported to the ADA 8x8 System Unit. Monitoring also covers battery condition and gives an alarm before the end of the battery's service life.
