The ALT 8x8 is a line transfer unit for Audico Avec public address and voice evacuation system. It converts ADA 8x8 central units’ low impedance (8 Ohms) outputs to 70-100V constant voltage lines. The ALT contains 8 separate transformers.

Flexible system architecture
Used in combination with ADA 8x8 G3 System Units as part of a scalable AVEC G3 system. Supports System Bus, Local Bus, or LAN connections. Configuration via web interface and third-party control systems is supported.
Certified for compliance and safety
Certified according to EN 54-16:2008 and EN 60945 standards. Type approval issued by DNV and Bureau Veritas for maritime use.
ALT also delivers the 24VDC priority voltage for attenuators’ bypass relays, use of priority voltage ensures the important message is heard everywhere in spite of the current position of the volume setting. Output lines can be connected parallel to increase the power delivered to a single line.
